2003: Tata cozies up to boyfriend and Thai tennis star Paradorn Srichaphan during a tennis match in Bangkok. The highly publicized romance is cut short, reportedly on orders of the star player's father and coach.

2004: Tata releases her first English album, 'I Believe.' Hit single 'Sexy, Naughty, Bitchy,' while stirring controversy in Thailand for its overt sexiness, dominates the airwaves in Asia and breaks into top 10 charts in Japan and Hong Kong. The album sells 1.2 million copies worldwide and vaults Tata to international fame.

2005: Tata arrives at Asian earthquake and tsunami benefit MTV Asia Aid at the IMPACT Arena in February 2005 in Bangkok. She meets new boyfriend Prem Busarakamwong, son of a Thai sports equipment mogul, during a documentary shoot for the relief effort, according to her official website. They will be together until 2008.

2005: Tata works up the crowd at MTV Asia Aid. She performs alongside Kelly Clarkson, Hoobastank, Good Charlotte and Simple Plan.

2006: Tata arrives at the MTV Asia Awards held at Siam Paragon in Bangkok. She nabs the ‘Favorite Artist Thailand’ award that night. She also releases her second English album ‘Temperature Rising’ with hit single ‘El Nin-Yo!’ The music video is banned by the Thai Ministry of Culture because it is deemed 'too sexy,' The Nation reports.

2006: Tata shares the stage with Lee Ryan (of disbanded British boy band Blue) at the MTV Asia Awards 2006.

2006: Tata and boyfriend Prem Busarakamwong at the opening ceremony of the 2006 Bangkok International Film Festival in Bangkok. The couple is engaged in a lavish ceremony in November 2007, but break it off less than a year later.

2009: Tata performs on stage in Bangkok in September 2009 at the launch of her latest album, ironically titled ‘Ready for Love.’ The concert is held on the tarmac of the Thai capital’s Don Mueang airport.

You can't argue that Tata Young is Thailand’s most famous singer, the only songstress to gain a substantial following outside the country’s borders.

She recently launched her third English-language album, "Ready to Love," but her legacy may always be tied to the hit that launched her career to the greater Asian masses: "Sexy, Naughty, Bitchy." However, Tata -- half-American and half-Thai -- has long been under the spotlight for her love life as much as her music.

The former girlfriend of Thai tennis celeb Paradorn Srichaphan and, more recently, Prem Busarakhamwon, she's constantly featured in Thai tabloids. Check out our gallery above of some of Tata’s most famous public moments.
