Tonight's main event: Japanese, Malaysian and Thai jazz ensemble

Five of Asia's jazz greats unite for a night of pop, rock and folk fusion in Bangkok
Unit Asia JazzIsao Sankichi Miyoshi, a prominent musician on the Japanese jazz scene, leads the Unit Asia ensemble.

Throw off those Monday blues with a night of jazz with the Unit Asia Jazz Concert at the Thailand Cultural Center. The show unites five top Asian jazz musicians and various musical elements like pop, rock and folk to create a unique and original sound.

The ensemble, which includes Thailand's Koh Mr Saxman (saxophone), Japane's Hiroyuki Noritake (drums), Shigeki Ippon (bass) and Malaysia's Tay Cher Siang (piano), will be led by Japanese guitarist Isao Miyoshi.

The performance begins at 8pm tonight, March 29, and tickets are priced at 500-1,200 baht through Thaiticketmajor.com.
