It beats a painful foot scrub. The staff at Dr Fish eat the dead skin cells off feet that host odor-causing bacteria.
The recent addition of Dr Fish as part of its relaxation services -- normally limited to Thai massage and reflexology -- has seen increased attention thanks to its rather peculiar team of staff: fish.
These little guys eat the dead skin cells off of feet that are home to odor-causing bacteria. Don't worry, the procedure won't earn you a spot on PETA's hitlist. To the contrary, these fish apparently love to nibble on our tissues for protein while enzymes from their little suction cup mouths also smooth skin.
Unlike Bangkok’s other feet-nibbling fish tanks, the funky neon-pink Dr Fish is separated into different seating zones for an added layer of privacy, so you don't have to share your fish with strangers.
