Saosin: Bangkok live music pick of the week
Joined by Sweet Mullet and No More Tear, the American 'post hardcore' band hits the stage at Butter Butter tonight
27 January, 2010
Following on Green Day’s heels is American 'post hardcore' band Saosin, set to perform in Bangkok tonight at Butter Butter on Ratchadaphisek Road.
The Californian band is touring in support of their second studio album, "In Search of Solid Ground," which was released late last year.
Though Saosin is relatively unknown in Thailand, the band has gained quite a strong following in the United States in recent years. In addition to playing in the annual North American punk rock festival Warped Tour, their most recent single, "Move Slow," appears on the TV show "NCIS's" original soundtrack.
Opening for Saosin tonight are Thai bands No More Tear and Sweet Mullet. For more info and tickets, visit Thaiticketmaster.com.
