It’s no secret Tata Young, who turns 29 this year, is fighting to break onto the international stage. The Thai-American singer launched her third English-language album, "Ready to Love," last month, with record label Sony Music Thailand sparing no expense to promote it. (They even flew her into Don Muang Airport for a special promotional concert on the runway.)
The album is recieiving good reviews throughout Asia. It’s a blend of R 'n' B and pop, produced by top European music maker André "Brix" Buchmann. Tata also snagged Korean director Rainmaker Cho, who has worked with Korean superstar Rain and Taiwan’s Wang Lee Hom, to work on her video for "Ready For Love," snippets of which you can see above. The full video can be seen at the official Tata Young website.
We recently interviewed the singer (see above), who explains why this album is her best yet.
