NYCC: So much more than cheesecake to die for
With imported pastrami, this tiny cafe is worth the pilgrimage out to the Crystal Design Center

One of NYCC's jaw-busting sandwiches. On the ever-shortening list of what’s missing from Bangkok, you can now cross off pastrami sandwich.
Thanks to NYCC (New York Cheese Cake), a small stand-alone café at the mammoth Crystal Design Centre that opened late last year, that tiny gap in the market has been more than filled with jaw-dislocating, gut-busting takes on the New York favorite for a very reasonable 180 baht.
While the stacking is a little over-the-top (too much lettuce and onion) and the bread wrong (rye, please), the fresh pastrami (imported from the Big Apple itself) is outstanding.
In addition, delicious cheesecake and decadent, multi-layered carrot cake make NYCC a very worthwhile pilgrimage.
Crystal Design Centre, Praditmanutham Road. Between Lat Prao Soi 77 and Soi Yothin Pattana. Open 10:30am-9pm on weekdays, 10:30am-10pm on weekends. Tel +66 (0)2 102 2065Tags:
