This two-floor Sukhumvit Road venue is one of the classier Indian restaurants in Bangkok, eschewing kitschy Indian decor to focus on top quality food.
"When I am craving good Indian food I go to India Today," says celebrity restaurateur and chef Ian kittichai. "I especially like the paneer."
Unlike many of the Indian restaurants in the lower Sukhumvit area, the upmarket India Today is bright, welcoming and modern.
It cooks up all the Indian classics fresh, from tandooris and fresh naans to curries concocted with ingredients imported from the subcontinent.
An added bonus: India Today has a well-stocked bar and an impressive wine selection. Head to the top floor, grab a window seat and watch the traffic crawl by on Sukhumvit below as you wine and dine.
