What Beirut lacks in décor it makes up in authenticity, offering some of Bangkok’s best Middle Eastern eats.
Hidden in the basement of Ploenchit Center, Beirut has virtually no atmosphere. It’s just a drab-looking restaurant with outdated décor but its authentic Lebanese/Middle Eastern dishes have put Beirut on the foodie map.
The kitchen churns out reliably delicious Middle Eastern classics. Hummus, tabouleh, falafel, lamb kebabs, chicken shwarmas… It’s tempting to order everything to go with the fresh baked pitas. What’s more, portions are huge and prices are pocket-friendly.
Beirut also has another (better-looking) branch at J City Tower on Silom Road (+66 (0) 2632 7448. BTS Saladaeng).
