Bangkok Burger Blog: Hunting out the city's top beef patties

Promising to leave no bun unturned, a new website is dedicated solely to rating and reviewing Bangkok's best -- and worst -- burgers

Bangkok Burger Blog, a new site that rates and reviews Bangkok’s best and worst burgers, is attracting fans fast.

“No bun will be left unturned. No patty left behind,” promises the website, which was launched in mid-April.

Here are Bangkok Burger Blog's criteria -- must be made of ground beef; must be fried, grilled, broiled or baked; must be served in patty form; and must be served between two pieces of bread, bun or roll.

The site has already rated 10 of the city’s burgers, many from well-known pubs. So far, the Bangkok Burger Blog rates Larry’s Dive and Hyde & Seek as having the city's best burgers, giving both 9/10.

As for the worst, that dubious honor goes to roadside burger cart Nanaburger, with a dismal 3/10. Though Bangkok Burger Blog says if you’re drunk that could be increased to 8/10.
