Where to drink Guinness this St. Patrick's Day in Bangkok
Take the day off and celebrate. Jameson's is offering Guinness pints for 150 baht and Jameson’s Irish whiskey all day.Dubliner
This Irish-owned pub on Sukhumvit Road has a healthy crowd pretty much any given night of the week so expect it to be packed full tonight. Spread over three floors, it’s full of Irish décor ranging from classic Guinness signs to a map of the Irish coast. In addition to pints of Kilkenny and Guinness, among other beers, Dubliner is renowned for its great pub grub.

Silom: O’Reilly Bangkok
Right smack in the middle of the Silom action, this place is going to be very busy tonight. A modern version of a traditional Irish pub, O’Reilly’s is filled with LCD screens airing sports matches and will have a live band performing tonight. Don’t expect to meet too many Irish people here, besides the odd tourist, though it does have Kilkenny and Guinness on tap which for some is all the Irish exposure you need on St. Patrick’s Day.

Soi Convent: Molly Malone’s
Much like O’Reilly’s, Molly Malone’s isn’t exactly what we’d call a traditional Irish pub. But nonetheless it has all the essentials, including Irish eats, Irish beer, Irish newspapers and, for tonight’s St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, live Irish music. Molly Malone's close proximity to tourist traps Patpong and Silom make it a popular drinking hole so expect the place to be jumping with partiers tonight.

Finnegan's Irish Pub
If you are looking for a more authentic Irish experience, Finnegan’s is your best bet. Far from being another shiny clean tourist trap, Irish bar Finnegan’s, owned by friendly Irishman Gerry Finnegan is set right in the middle of seedy Nana, on Sukhumvit Soi 4. There’s Guinness and Heinnekin on tap, while the menu features some of the best true Irish grub in the city. Nothing fancy, just straight up Irish fun.

Jameson’s
This popular expat-frequented Irish pub toward the end of Silom is filled with traditional décor and offers a great selection of draught beer, including Guinness, Kilkenny, John Smiths and Black & Tan. In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, Jameson’s is offering Guinness pints for 150 baht, Jameson’s Irish whiskey for 100 baht per shot and Magners Draught Cider for 150 baht per pint, all day. After 4pm, pints of green Heineken are on special for 100 baht each.
