The Nation reports that Thai Bev took nearly two years to develop its packaging and marketing plan to launch its first brandy product.Thailand’s top alcoholic drink maker, Thai Beverage, has launched its first brand of brandy, called Meridian.
According to The Nation, the Chang beer maker has spent more than 1 billion baht to take on rival brand Regency, which has a 90 percent share of the local brandy market.
Meridian is a VSOP-class brandy (Very Special Old Pale) and is now the fourth product segment in the company's spirit-product portfolio, following brown, white and herbal spirits.
