My Bangkok: Dudesweet's Note Kunprasop
Nothing summarizes the life of busy party boy Note Pongsuang Kunprasop better than his Twitter bio: 'Wake up-party-sleep-repeat.'
This spectacularly social animal, whose name is synonymous with Bangkok's party scene thanks to his popular indie electronic nights known as “Dudesweet,” is a graphic designer at Slowmotion Design by day (working on his own schedule), party maker by night. Between parties, Note took us through an ideal day in his Bangkok.
Morning
There is no morning for Note. A professional night crawler, his day starts at 4pm.
4pm
First up for Note, social media maintenance: “Facebook. Facebook. And Facebook.”
Note has more than 1,300 friends on his profile, mostly people he's met at Dudesweet parties. In addition to its official website, Dudesweet relies heavily on its social media identities to promote events. So it's essential that Note update these daily.
7pm
By now, friends of Note can expect a phone call. Note will be on the other end of the line pleading and infesting them with guilt, coercing them to come out and party.
First stop: It's Happened to be a Closet. This eccentric joint is no ordinary Bangkok fashion-store-cum-restaurant. And we're not just talking about the shockingly poor grammar in its name. Among the handmade leather goods is a tasty Italian cafe and bakery.
Despite the original Siam Square shop having only one table, the place became so popular that its owners opened Khao San Road, Siam Paragon and Emporium branches.

9pm
Dinner duty fulfilled, it's time for alcohol! People like Note don't go near trendy Thonglor to fight for seats with stuck-up rich kids.
Note prefers to keep it real at Lollipop -- "where fun, real people are" -- formerly known as Lullabar, near Democracy Monument. This tiny old wooden house was turned into an indie hangout a few years back and recently received a facelift in the form of added color and vintage decor.

11pm
Only now does Note really come to life. He can be spotted at either 808 in RCA or Club Culture on Sri Ayuthaya Road. Note says the latter is one of the few places in Bangkok where you can really taste the electronic dance scene without having to deal with unfortunate sex tourists and their purchases.
Along with the lineup of international DJs, these clubs are an outlet for Thai DJs to show off their sounds. They're also the main venues for Note's Dudesweet parties.

2am
By now, the clubs are officially closed in Bangkok. For Note, this is the most interesting time of the evening. “Look at me, where do you think I would go after all the clubs are closed?”
An openly happy man, he continues on at Bangkok's most happening gay bars, DJ Station and GOD -- Guys On Display (Silom Road, +66 (0)2 632 8033).
5am
A tired and tipsy Note heads to nearby bar Wong's Place. “The best hangover cure? Drink more,” he says.
A local legend, Wong's Place (Soi Sri Bumphen, Sathorn, +66 (0)2 286 1558) serves cheap beer and plays 1970s hits, from punk to disco. Note tells us this is where some of his greatest ideas pop into his head.
7:30am
When most people are getting ready for work or school, Note is winding down. He heads to Ari for early morning dim sum and congee to soak up all the alcohol he's ingested.
“And then I go home, sleep, rinse and then repeat.”
Although a full-fledged Thai born and raised in Bangkok, Kitty is not your typical Thai lady.
Outspoken, sometimes with an almost gnarly in-your-face attitude, her signature is a trait that is usually frowned upon in her home country -- as shown in her brazen writing style.
