I may have the most confused accent of anyone at CNNGo, having attended an American school in Germany, followed by a British school in India and then university at McGill, in French-speaking Canada.
I stopped after that because I couldn't spell anymore.
But I still attempt to write about urban culture because I live in a city that's exploding with it. I landed in Mumbai as CNNGo's city editor after a decade with ELLE magazine's India edition. In between I freelanced as a writer and fashion stylist for ELLE Décor, Travel + Leisure and Rolling Stone, and as India trend scout for future forecasting companies in London and New York.
Sita Wadhwani's essay was published by Penguin books in an anthology entitled Chasing the Good Life (2006).Sita Wadhwani's favorite webpages and links
