Her passion is the one-on-one interview; she's interviewed everyone ranging from high fashion superstars to up-and-coming designers to UN leaders, literary giants, cashmere producers, and royal mistresses. Prior to her studies in politics and social issues at UC Berkeley (BA) and Harvard (MS), she studied performing arts at the San Francisco School of the Arts. Jenara is a tea lover, avid swimmer, design appreciator, has a palpable curiosity in every person she meets, and is currently opening a Miami-inspired lounge in Kathmandu as part of the lifestyle brand she co-founded, South Beach Nepal. In addition to CNN, her work has appeared in TIME, BlackBook Magazine, and NextBillion.
