Author: Gregory Curley

Hailing from Ottawa, Canada’s ultra-hip capital, Gregory left for Holland at the tender age of sixteen to finish high school. It was there that he was bitten with a severe case of wanderlust, and started exploring before finally heading back to finish his degree in his hometown. Once again restless, he set off for Asia to quiet the nagging and discovered that it actually seemed a good fit.

Far different than anything he was used to, he soon left the teaching circuit (which paid him well for years, lining his pockets with travel funds) and started writing and editing with various publications before landing a job at the Korean Tourism Organization. It was here that he developed the idea for his blog. He now works as a copywriter with LG Ad and continues to write for SEOUL magazine (an arts and culture rag partly funded by the metropolitan government) and CNNGo. Gregory’s work has also appeared in Elle, MTV, Morning Calm (Korea’s in-flight magazine), The Korea Herald and CNN.
