Author: Chris Anderson
Chris Anderson is editor-in-chief of Wired...Actually, no. I'm not the editor-in-chief of Wired. Common mistake though. Just don't let it happen again. Also, don't email me saying you'd like to connect on Linkedin and, "Hey! Great issue of Wired last month!" If I respond then you'll probably end up at Pacific Coffee alone.
My official title is Associate Editor of CNNGo, and I am in charge of managing the main page of CNNGo as well as putting together regional content spanning the whole of Asia.
My numerous, small, self assigned (RE: Names my family and friends have given me) titles are as follows; 'China boy,' 'dude' and 'the guy that thinks the CMS is a woman.'
I'm a native Californian, hold an English B.A. and at one time was a 'slave to the man' with a nine to five job. Then I packed up and headed to Shanghai, China in January 2006 with
little more than a few (hundred) dollars and a suitcase filled with
flip flops and T-shirts.
I lived and worked in Shanghai for two years, traveled around Asia, and currently live in the small village of Central, Hong Kong.
