Author: Charlie Lancaster

Phnom Penh-based journalist Charlie Lancaster first got on a plane when she was three-weeks old and hasn’t stopped traveling since. Brought up in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, she studied Arabic and Middle East studies before moving to Lebanon to work with Palestinian refugees and Jordon to work on post-war Iraq reconstruction programs. In 2007, she moved to Cambodia’s greener pastures, from where she has been scouring the region’s countryside for stories and adventures. What she loves most about her work, apart from the freedom to travel, is the opportunity to meet a diverse range of people and learn their stories.
